Little P is always fascinated with everything in the grocery store - from the big, hanging red and yellow flashing arrow that directs shoppers to the bakery to the colorful cans of beans and tomatoes lined up on a shelf. This morning was no exception because the tortilla maker was running full speed - samples included. This is easily a field trip in my book!By the way, grocery shopping just got THAT much more exciting now that Peru can sit up in her Buggy Bagg (thanks again Sarah D). This has to be the coolest invention in baby gear. It fits snug inside the front seat of your cart, keeping your kid from sucking on the bars while enjoying a comfy, queenly stroll around the store. We can strap in binkies, toys - it even comes with a long pillow that situates them "just so". I wish we had this kind of thing when I was a kid. Then again, maybe I wouldn't be alive today if I hadn't fought off all those nasty germs riding on the bottom rack of the cart (where the toilet paper and briquettes usually get thrown), propelling myself along the grocery store floor with my hands. Heh.
